Gold CH341A USB EEPROM and BIOS Programmer Kit
The Gold CH341A BIOS Programmer is a compact USB programming tool designed for reading and writing supported 24-series EEPROM and 25-series SPI Flash memory chips.
It is suitable for BIOS recovery, router firmware repair, LCD and television board servicing, motherboard repair and other electronic maintenance applications.
The included SOIC8 test clip allows technicians to attempt in-circuit access to supported chips without immediately removing them from the circuit board. The supplied 1.8V adapter supports compatible low-voltage Flash-memory chips.

The programmer does not support every chip or automotive control unit. It programs only compatible memory devices listed by the selected software.
SOIC8 Test Clip
The included SOIC8 clip can connect to a supported eight-pin chip while it remains soldered to the circuit board.
In-circuit programming is not guaranteed on every board. Other components connected to the same communication lines may prevent chip detection or reliable reading. In such cases, the chip may need to be removed and programmed using the socket adapter.
The colored or marked wire indicates Pin 1. Always confirm the chip orientation before connecting the programmer.
1.8V Adapter
Some modern BIOS and SPI Flash memories operate at 1.8V instead of 3.3V. The included 1.8V adapter reduces the programming voltage for compatible low-voltage chips.
Never connect a 1.8V memory chip directly to the standard programmer output. Applying an incorrect voltage may permanently damage the memory chip.
Always check the chip datasheet before programming.

Available operations depend on the chip and programming software.
Important Usage Notes
- Disconnect the target device from all power sources before attaching the test clip.
- Remove the battery and charger from laptops when possible.
- Confirm Pin 1 orientation before every connection.
- Verify whether the memory operates at 1.8V, 3.3V or another voltage.
- Create and save at least two identical backup reads before erasing a chip.
- Confirm that the backup file is not empty or filled entirely with FF or 00 values.
- Do not write an unverified firmware file to the chip.
- Never force a chip or adapter into the ZIF socket.
- In-circuit programming may fail because of other components on the board.
