AUTOOL SPT101 Spark Plug Tester
The AUTOOL SPT101 Spark Plug Tester is a compact workshop tool designed to test and compare the performance of two gasoline-engine spark plugs simultaneously.
Its dual-hole design allows a suspected spark plug to be compared with a known good plug. The adjustable control simulates engine operating speeds from 0 to 6000 RPM, making it easier to observe spark strength, consistency and firing performance at different frequencies.

Dual-Hole Testing
The two testing chambers make it possible to compare spark plugs under the same operating conditions. This helps the technician notice differences in spark intensity, stability and consistency.
Adjustable Testing Speed
The rotary control adjusts the simulated engine speed from 0 to 6000 RPM. Testing at different speeds can reveal intermittent or unstable spark-plug performance that may not appear at a single fixed frequency.
Protective Test Cover
The transparent cover helps contain the spark during testing while allowing the user to observe the spark-plug performance clearly.
How to Use
- Ensure that the tester is switched off.
- Insert one or two compatible gasoline spark plugs into the testing holes.
- Close the transparent protective cover.
- Connect the supplied power adapter.
- Turn on the tester.
- Gradually adjust the operating frequency using the control knob.
- Compare the spark strength and consistency of both plugs.
- Return the control to the minimum position before switching off the tester.
