The LAUNCH TSENSOR-05S is a new-generation programmable tire-pressure monitoring sensor designed to replace a wide range of compatible original TPMS sensors.

Its integrated dual-frequency design supports both 315MHz and 433MHz applications, allowing workshops to reduce the number of different replacement sensors kept in stock.

This version features a durable frosted-silver aluminum valve stem with an adjustable installation angle for improved compatibility with different wheel designs.

Dual-Frequency Operation

The sensor integrates both principal conventional TPMS frequencies:

The required frequency and vehicle-specific protocol are assigned when the sensor is programmed with a compatible LAUNCH TPMS tool.

The sensor is not ready for every vehicle directly from the package and must be programmed before installation.

The TSENSOR-05S requires a compatible LAUNCH TPMS programming device, such as:

• LAUNCH Creader TPMS 5011 V2
• LAUNCH CRT5011E or supported CRT TPMS tools
• LAUNCH i-TPMS
• LAUNCH X431 diagnostic tablets combined with a compatible TSGUN or i-TPMS device

Compatibility depends on the software and firmware version installed on the programming tool.

Programming with Autel, Thinkcar or other third-party TPMS tools is not supported unless explicitly confirmed by the tool manufacturer.

Programming Capabilities

Depending on the connected LAUNCH tool and vehicle application, programming methods may include:

• Automatic sensor creation

• Copying the ID from an activated original sensor
• Copying an ID read from the vehicle’s TPMS ECU

Battery life varies according to vehicle use, temperature, driving conditions and sensor transmission activity.

Installation Information

The sensor should be programmed before installation and fitted by a trained tire or automotive technician.

Important installation requirements:

• Confirm vehicle compatibility before programming.
• Program the sensor using a compatible LAUNCH TPMS tool.
• Do not install the sensor on a damaged wheel.
• Use the original supplied LAUNCH valve accessories.
• Follow the wheel changer manufacturer’s instructions.
• Tighten the sensor using the specified torque of approximately 4N·m.
• Position the adjustable valve correctly without forcing the sensor body.
• Test the TPMS system after installation.
• Complete the required vehicle relearn procedure.
